LOTUS is French-Lebanese Choreographer and Dancer with whom I have had the opportunity to have several collaborations with.

We first met during choreographer Muhanad Rasheed's creation "Insomina" , and later on several other works of him, becoming part of his Dance company for several years. 

After our first meeting , Lotus asked me to join one of her own creations " Les Temp's L'emportera " which we toured in France, Marocco, and South Korea and Belgium.

About Les Temp's L'emportera : 

"The starting point of the work is a long research process in a forsaken family house in the heart of Beirut. The result was the creation on an in situ solo piece in September 2010 in collaboration with composer and musician Stéphane Rives.

This house, where time seems to have stopped, was to me the real and unreal reflectIon of imaginary spaces and fragments. Its symbolic power has turned it into a theatre where all projections are possible. There is that which can be seen, but is not there, or not any longer. And there is that which cannot be seen, but can be imagined and felt. There is vibrating air, and walls that speak and breathe out stories...The presence of the people who used to live there, and who sometimes come into sight....

I have then wished to develop the process in a much larger and abstract place, a theater, a black box, in the form of a duo. "Time will win out" is a work about absence, the absence of others, but also the absence of oneself... Two women, who are at once still alive and already ghostlike, who may only be two women, or a number of women, pace up and down an indefinite space, a lost space which expands and closes without ceasing. They move into the troubled and uncertain zones of their bodies, in a semi-conscious state which guides them to No Man's Land.

Everywhere, around and within them, there are this suspension in time and this boundless emptiness.
